For a long, long while, rumah dayak which had been the embodiment of dayak pride in Kuching had been a source of much embarassment to the Dayak community.It had become a sore thump and an affront to dayak dignity.
Now is the time to stop finger pointing. Now is the time to act against the developer / contractor. We have been taken for a ride for far too long.
The legal suit will doubtles be messy and long drawn out. Expect plenty of fireworks, if not mud being hurled out. There will be plenty of allegations and cross allegations in between the pages of legal documents from both sides.Though i expect the developer / contractor will fiercely defend its position, i believe SDNU do have good legal grounds to disentangle itself from the present mess.
I would prefer SDNU to appoint a lawyer who is very sound, and ideally,he should not be a person who is associated with SDNU.Being detached from emotions for SDNU will enable him a better perspective of the case.
The legal fee may not be cheap, but what the heck. There’s have been suggestions to set up the rumah dayak defence fund. Get it rolling. NOW IS THE TIME. NOW IS THE MOMENT.

Aku kelia kala bermain ba rumah dayak ti lama suba sampai ka ia diroboh.Agi ingat rumah nya dijaga oleh niang aki tuai hadi ari siol kandisnya. Udah lebih ari sepuluh tahun wai bedau ga bediri. Aku setuju amat ko unggal chambai nya diatu meh maya kitai bertindak. Unggal kitai chambai nya nemu cara legal action ti ka diambi. Angkat kitai dayak’s anang ka dikemeli ka orang bansa bukai. terima kasih
